King Charles’ Visit to Oriel College, Oxford

Thanks so much to Oriel College for asking and trusting me to be their Royal photographer on Friday!

King Charles made a very special visit to mark their 700th Anniversary, and was greeted by the Provost, Lord Mendoza, and given a small tour. His Majesty was incredibly warm and attentive as he shook hands and spoke to almost all students, academics, staff and alumni.

The very moment he left, I rushed back to an office at Oriel to shortlist and seek approval on several images I had taken. Within the hour, the photos were already all over social media and ready for print with the press. Phew!!
